OCTOBER BLOG #6

In this blog, I'm excited to share why October stands out as the finest month of the year. The weather during this month is nothing short of perfection, and that's a deal-breaker for me. With early sunsets, we have the luxury of spending extended evenings with our family, gathered around the fireplace. It's neither too hot nor too cold; it's just perfect for a myriad of activities. Whether it's a trip to your favorite coffee shop for a delicious pumpkin spice latte or something else, there's no shortage of ways to enjoy the season.

One of the most beloved traditions in October is carving pumpkins to create the most unique and scary jack-o'-lanterns. You embark on an adventure at the pumpkin patch, searching for the perfect canvas for your masterpiece, feeling the weight of each one, and hoping for a pumpkin with fewer seeds.

October isn't just about pumpkin carving. In Arizona, we have numerous festivals, including the state fair, which is a delightful celebration with all its delicious treats, deep-fried everything, and kids screaming with joy. As night falls, October becomes most famous for its orange and purple lights, spooky costumes, and the joy of passing out candy to little ones on Halloween. It's a fun-filled night of celebration with friends and family, complete with delectable food and drinks.

So, what are your thoughts? Do you agree that October is the best month of the year? Share your opinions and your favorite October experiences in the comments below!

  1. I'm so glad that someone else shares the same view I do! October is such a great month, especially because of the change in weather! AZ is way too hot during the summer so it's so great to be able to go outside and do activities again. The state fair and decorating for fall are some of my favorite things to do during this month!

  4. Your four new entries look pretty good, Max. Your writing flows pretty well, and you have personality in your writing. Good visual appeal with images and layout. You are somewhat developing your content well, but there are areas where you can analyze further and create more significance for your audience. Keep working the concepts of rhetoric to connect to your audience and keep them engaged. Keep it up!
