FRESH
in the documentary fresh made in 2009, showing an overlook on how the food industry attacks our lives and environment. The film shows a good amount of our food distribution systems, and how they impact us and the world in a large scale. One of the main points the film tries to enforce is that it’s a world problem problem in America it’s worldwide the documentary shows a lot of violent and harsh things. We do to the animals in the farming system like the scene with the chickens how we torture and slaughter them after leaving them in a cage with no roaming room. The creator does a really good job by enforcing emotion in the film.
fresh shows how far Big is changing how her food is distributed how it’s affecting our health and our environment due to money. The audience they try to affect are the people of the world because it’s a worldwide problem. This video was made in 2009 and if they remade it today it would be substantially worse the creators of the film do a really good job by implying and showing how important this topic really is. Some things that stood out to me is when they show the part of the chickens getting slaughtered and going through the machines getting the legs ripped off how they are in little cages, being born, just to be killed right away, this film made me think of what do we put in our body and what can I do to help it you really can’t do anything because that’s just the way of life now. I think it’s a good thing that we show these videos so Americans can see the food we eat and what it can do, but should we bother caring no because there’s absolutely nothing we can do about this situation
I agree with this blog, it is absurd how awful farmers can be to these animals, and the processes they go through to produce this high volume of food to sell to make more money. I also agree that if they made a film like this today, it would be much worse, due to the population being so much more now.
ReplyDeleteI like how you made a point to say what the movie was about and how if it were to be remade it would be a lot worse now. I also like how you pointed out how the chickens are raised and also how the way things are processed makes you realize how bad the food is for you.
